Ernesto Antonio "Tito" Puente is a Latin jazz musician, songwriter and record producer. Puente is often credited as "The Musical Pope", "El Rey de los Timbales" (The King of the Timbales) and "The King of Latin Music". He is best known for dance-oriented mambo and Latin jazz compositions including his most famous song "Oye Como Va". He is based on the historical figure of the same name.
Maury Gold Banquet Edit
In 1973 Tito Puente appears as part of the live entertainment at the banquet honoring record executive Maury Gold performing "Picadillo" and other compositions.
