Berry Gordy III (known professionally as Berry Gordy Jr.) is a record executive, record producer, songwriter, and film producer. He is best known as the founder of the Motown record label and its subsidiaries, the highest-earning African-American business and played an important role in the racial integration of popular music. He is based on the historical figure of the same name.

Maury Gold Banquet Edit

At a banquet honoring Maury Gold, Koronet Records head Jackie Jervis roasts the guest of honor, as well as other record executives in attendance. Jervis jokingly calls Berry Gordy a schvartze and cracks a joke about how he and everyone else thought Gordy was a waiter at the banquet, much to Gordy's amusement.
